XConsole is a software for remote controlling and managing Barix Exstreamers, Instreamers and Annuncicoms (IP Audio decoders and encoders) on IP-networks, from an ordinary PC.

No configuration is needed. The software will scan the network for Barix units and servers by itself. ZServer is needed for the XConsole to work properly. ZServer is available for download on Barix website.

The software is built in 100% pure Java (requiring Java 1.3 or later to be installed) and runs on Intel based PCs, Mac OS X or Unix/Linux platforms with XWindow. Java is free software supplied by Sun Microsystems and can be downloaded here.

The software is still under development, but for testing purposes the beta versions is now available for download. Beta versions does NOT include any type of support, upgrades/patches or warranties. The software is available "as is" and is free of charge for a 30 day trial period.
